Here we offer you a unique Spider for sale that is unlikely to be found anywhere else. This vehicle is far from original – but thanks to extensive conversions in outstanding quality, it is still an absolute highlight.

The Spider on offer here spent the majority of its life in Texas, USA, until the current owner imported the car to Poland in 2015 and subjected it to an extensive restoration. A whole series of modifications were made to create an exceptionally purist driving experience.

The engine was performance-optimised by the well-known engine builder and Lampredi specialist Guy Croft († 2022). The Bosch L-Jetronic installed from 1980 onwards was replaced by a carburettor system with 2 Weber 44 IDF twin carburettors. The intake is a completely custom made and is filtered by a K&N Apoll filter. In addition, forged pistons and connecting rods, an electronic ignition system, high-performance ignition cables, lighter camshaft sprockets, an aluminium radiator and silicone radiator hoses, as well as an external oil cooler were installed. The power is transmitted to the rear axle via a ZF gearbox from a Fiat 131 with short shifter and a helix clutch.

The Spider also has a power steering unit from EZ Powersteering which, together with the Koni shock absorbers, ensures perfect, smooth handling. At the front axle, an internally ventilated disc brake with Wilwood brake callipers provides the necessary braking power. A complete stainless steel exhaust system with fan manifold provides a powerful sound when chasing bends on the country road.

The body was professionally restored and completely painted in an elegant cream-white colour. A new black soft top was fitted as well. The interior also received an extensive makeover. The seats, centre console, dashboard, steering wheel and door panels were reupholstered in black with contrast stitching to match the exterior. The Spider also received a completely new carpet set made from a loop material similar to the original. The wooden panels in the dashboard are still original.

The restoration is extensively documented in form of several photos!

Since completion of the restoration and modification work, the Spider has only travelled approx. 7,000 km and is therefore waiting to be pushed to its limits by its new owner on sunny drives or even on the racetrack. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity and secure yourself a truly one-of-a-kind Spider that guarantees endless driving pleasure.
